Recruiting and Training
At Metropolitan, we offer a top pay to our employees. This provides a steady
influx of qualified candidates and as well as a reliable source of referral benefit
to our existing employees.

On site Training & Evaluation

Security officers receive training on site to familiarize them with the property
and the post orders for the assignment. On-site training encompassing our
client’s critical needs (i.e. site rules, regulations and procedures) is then
meticulously covered. A series of scenarios is enacted to better prepare our
security personnel. This is helpful in stressing the specificity of a customer’s
particular security guidelines.

Security officers are consistently evaluated on-site to ensure that they are
meeting the requirements of the assignment, know the contact regulations, and
are maintaining a well-groomed and professional appearance. We know how to
balance a visible and unobtrusive security presence.

Supervision

We have highly-trained and capable supervisors, agency wide with a proven
experience in loss prevention, customer satisfaction, pubic relations, crises
intervention and vulnerability assessment.

Our supervisor’s conduct regularly scheduled as well as unannounced post
inspections of our personnel in the field. This permits a high volume of post
inspections per week; build an overall security presence, and stifles any
opportunity for stationary officers to deteriorate in the performance of their
duties. Alertness and performance are regularly monitored via these random
unannounced checks of our security officers.

It is through this process of close supervision that we are able to maintain a
constant line of communication with our people in the field, site management,
and the corporate office.

This supervision insures our customers that they are receiving the “extra
measure of service” for which they are paying.

The training manager at Metropolitan Security & Investigation maintains all
records of training for each member of the our company. Supervisors perform
evaluations and are responsible to ensure each member demonstrates
competency in the performance of duties.
